CULT GAIA

Cult Gaia is is an exciting new project I've been working on, beginning with whimsical, rebellious floral hair wreaths and funky wire fabric headbands that are a modern take on the traditional turban.  I am getting so creative with this and will slowly possess all of you with GAIA.  STAY TUNED!  In the meantime, check out this amateur and vibey video....

The Fun Theory

"This site is dedicated to the thought that something as simple as fun is the easiest way to change people’s behaviour for the better. Be it for yourself, for the environment, or for something entirely different, the only thing that matters is that it’s change for the better."

damn right.

Eclectic Method: sensory overload

If youre not being stimulated enough listening to music or you need a rush to your head and want to go mentally numb, Eclectic Method creates the ultimate sensory overload experience creating,  "audio-visual mash-ups featuring television, film, music and video game footage sliced and diced into blistering, post-modern dance floor events. It’s a cyclone of music and images mashed together in a world where Kill Bill fight scenes and Dave Chappelle’s Rick James rants are ingeniously cut and looped over bootleg samples, DVD scratches and pumped-up dance anthems."  Finally! Music should always include visual counterparts that are in sync with and complement the sound- not these dim music videos with long winded cheesy story lines.  Watch below.

Books come alive

Thats it. I'm taking an animation course.

Welcome to our city - to our world - of books. This is where we live.

"A film for 4th Estate Publishers' 25th Anniversary. Produced by Apt Studio and Asylum Films.

The film was produced in stop-motion over 3 weeks in Autumn 2008. Each scene was shot on a home-made dolly by an insane bunch of animators; you can see time-lapse films of each sequence being prepared and shot in our other films."

You fade to Light

The world's forst OLED media wall, "You Fade to Light", by rAndom International is an interactive installation that allows the viewer to interact with the light in a physical way as it reflects the movement of the subject gently into light.

Youtube on Acid

Yooouuutuuube is an interactive site where you can upload any youtube or video link and it will pan each frame across the screen like a trippy psychedelic mosaic experience. My mind is exploding, along with my computer screen-just what I needed.
